Susan is the author of five published books, from murder mysteries to the practical and true crime. She serves on the Editorial Board of the Texas Center for the Judiciary’s Official Publication, “In Chambers.” She is a member of Writers’ League of Texas, Authors Guild, Sisters in Crime (National, Austin, and Internet Chapters), Private Eye Writers of America, and has served as President of the Southwest Chapter of Mystery Writers of America of which she is still a member.
Recently, her mystery Death of A Prince was honored as a finalist in the Writers’ League of Texas’ Violet Crown Award.
Born and raised in Texas, Susan spent the majority of her life in Galveston. She and her husband enjoy traveling the world and have homes in Galveston, Fredericksburg, and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
She is the mother of two daughters and grandmother to seven.
