Susan Baker is the author of three novels, two nonfiction books, and several short stories.

Her current projects include a mainstream novel about a mother fighting the state for custody of her son and a thriller about a man being stalked by a group of women.

She is a member of Writers’ League of Texas, Authors Guild, and Sisters in Crime.

Susan is a frequent speaker for many organizations, including libraries, writers' groups, and a trainer for the Professional Development Program of the Texas Center for the Judiciary.

Born and raised in Texas, Susan spent the majority of her life in Galveston. She and her husband enjoy traveling the world and have homes in Galveston and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

She is the mother of two daughters and grandmother of eight.
